Honorary President of the European Sport Championship of Police and Fire.
His Excellency Mr. Joan Antoni SAMARANCH, President of the International Olympic Committee from 1980 till 2001 and currently Honorary President for life, is also now the Honorary President of the European Sport Championship of Police and Fire Andorra2010.
His Excellency Mr. Joan Antoni SAMARANCH accepted this Honorary Presidency due to the excellent job realized by the Organizing Committee of the Championship and which purpose is the promotion of the sport and the competition within the Special Forces.
During the meeting, the Honorary President, informed us that it is an honor for him and that he accepts this responsibility with emotion, and assures us that he supports the Organization, in order to obtain a spectacular sporting event.
Mister Samaranch informed us personally that he will do everything possible to attend the inauguration of the championship on June 26th
