European Championship Sports Police and Firefighters (registered trademark) to be held from 26 June to 03 July 2010 is a sporting event which can involve all Special Forces in Europe (detail below). It is aimed at active as well as retirees
To participate it is not required to be federated or have obtained minimum marks in the sport or event you want.

REGULATION OF PARTICIPATION

Conditions of participation:
To participate in the European Championship Sports Police and Fire Andorra 2010, the requirements will be the following ones:
POLICE (local, municipal, federal, state, ports, airports, borders, traffic agents), FIREFIGHTERS (municipal, local, federal, national, port, airports, volunteers), police, bodyguards, police mountain , forest officers (national, local), the prison officers, police officers, customs officers.
INACTIVE / RETIRED: using a mandatory identification card or a document justifying the current situation and the section where the competitor has worked.

Not suitable participants:
Any person who does not meet the requirements will be disqualified. 
If a participant of a team does not qualify, all the team will be disqualified.
Coaches: 
The teams could have a coach who could also receive a medal if he filled the necessary required conditions (payment of registration and submission of the registration form)

Age divisions:
The championship established the following categories of competition: 

- Open 18-29 
- Senior A 30-34 
- Senior B 35-39 
- Master A 40-44 
- Master B 45-49  
-Grand Master A 50-54
- Gran Máster B de 55 a 59
- Gran Máster C de 60 a 64
- Gran Máster D + de 65

In some sports, the age categories will be deleted. You will find specific information and detailed in the "Regulations of sports." 
The teams will compete in the age category of the youngest member. 
The considered age will be the age that the competitor will have on the first day of the championship.

Registrations:
All participants should register before the deadline set by the Organization of the championship. Registration will be formalized online through the site: www.2010policefire.com, with the payment system Payment Virtual Terminal.
After the deadline of registration, in case one of the competitors cannot appear (with cancellation of registration) the organization reserves the right to accept new candidates to replace competitors who finally will not participate. The organization could realize the reimbursement of expenses if the competitor has checked an insurance in case of cancellation.

Registration dates:
Registrations will close two (2) weeks before the sporting event. 
If a Club, Federation, Organization or Association accepts other competitors once exceeded the deadline of registration, new participants can register at the beginning of the championship at the Technical Secretariat located in the Meeting Point.

When registering on the site, each competitor must complete the form required by facilitating the following data: name, surname, date and place of birth, number of identity card or passport, represented country, represented institution, e-mail address, list of all the sports the candidate will participate in (individually, by team or as trainer)

Registration fees :
Fees will be 50 € if registration is made before January 15th, 2010 and gives the right to only participate in one sport. 
From this date, the expenses of registration will be 70 €. 
If competitors want to participate in several sports or modalities, the rate will be 15 € per additional sport. The payment will be realized on the site (registration) by credit card.

Confirmation of registration:
The Secretariat of the Organization will facilitate by e-mail to each competitor a number of registration with all his data. This number will allow each candidate the access to his registration form so he can modify, add or cancel the sports in which he will want to participate.

Cancellation of events:
If in any sports or modalities there is only one participant or one team, the organization will do everything possible for this candidate or this team to participate in the championship. 
In this case, and depending on the sport, the participant will be redirected in a superior or lower category of the same sport. Otherwise and if the Committee decides to cancel the sporting event the participant will be informed before the beginning of the championships and the fees of registration will be paid off.

Shooting sports events:
All competitors registered in the shooting events will be required to certify, as often as requested by the Organization, that the carrying of firearms is officially allowed to them. 

Transportation of weapons:
The participants will submit themselves to the national and international laws in force in the European Union and the organizing country, Andorra.
Commons carriers, such as airlines and trains, have their own rules of transport for firearms and ammunition. Check with your carrier or travel representative for specific information.

Accreditation:
All competitors will present their accreditation to the area authorized by the Organization of the Championship, the Meeting Point, before the beginning of the competition they will participate in. The information about schedules or other facilities will be available at the Meeting Point.
At the request of the Secretariat of the Organization, the competitors will have to facilitate a copy of the entry made by e-mail, a professional document, a national document and a license of weapons for sports shooting.
After these formalities the Technical Secretariat will make the necessary steps, at the Meeting Point, for the accreditation of each participant stating the following details: full name, photography, delegation, country, category, identification number and the sport events the competitor will participate in. 
Accreditation should be presented to all the sports areas and whenever requested by the Organization.

Unsportsmanlike Conduct:

Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated during the championship. Any physical or verbal assaults on referees, participants, spectators or organizers will be punished being able to provoke the expulsion of the competitor.
During the stay in the Principality of Andorra, the participants will have to submit themselves to the Andorrans laws. Any illegal activity committed during the championship, will include the automatic disqualification of the candidate in all sporting events. 

No competitor can participate in sports events under the influence of alcohol or other illegal substances.

Uniforms:
Participants in sports team must have two uniforms: one light colored and one dark to avoid being confused with the opposite team.


RULES OF COMPETITION

Individuals events:
The individual events that do not involve an opponent to compete or are made of one person or few people will be competing in other categories but their own category will be taken into account for qualifications.

Participants in the individual events with only one competitor will win a medal even if they participate in other categories.
Team competitions: 

Team Captain:
Each team will have to nominate a captain who will also be the responsible person who will note the list of the members of the team on his registration form. 
If the captain cannot attend the championship he could be replaced by another member of the team by informing as soon as possible, the Technical Secretariat or the Technical Director of each sporting event. 
He will also be the interlocutor between the team and the members of the Organization of the championship, informing both parts of the established changes. 
He will be responsible of the team and of the correct conduct of its members; he will also represents the team in case of appeals.

Technical jury:

The jury will consist of one or two directors of the championship, with a maximum of 3 Technical Directors, and a person in charge of the judges of the event. Its function is to act in case of complaints of a team or an athlete. The decision of the jury will be firm.
The complaint will be made at first verbally and will be directed to the judge /referee in the moment of the sporting event. The decision is up to the judge / referee. If the resolution is disputed by the participant, the complaint will be directed to the Technical Director of the sporting event. Finally, the Technical Director will convene the technical jury. At this moment, the technical jury will take a decision by voting and that decision will be communicated to the competitors. 

Medical assistance:
In case of medical care, the decision of the doctor will be without appeal.

The participant / technician accepts under his unique responsibility all the  medical expenses due of any physical problem  he would already have or that will occur  during the celebration of the  European Sport Championship of Police and Fire  Andorra 2010 (including the opening and the closing ceremony, or  during the travels). The Organization can provide to the participants  first aid limited to an injury occurred during the event in which he participates, but the unique  person in charge of all the medical expenses,   as it is indicated above , will be the participant / technician.
